The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968G is a sophisticated fusion of sport and luxury, introduced in 2021 as the first white gold iteration of the Aquanaut chronograph. This model is available in two dial variations: the 5968G-001 with a midnight blue dial and the 5968G-010 featuring a khaki green dial. Both versions are paired with matching composite straps, enhancing their contemporary appeal

The watch boasts a 42.2mm rounded octagonal case crafted from 18K white gold, measuring 11.9mm in height. Its design features a combination of polished and satin-brushed surfaces, contributing to its refined aesthetic. The khaki green dial offers a matte finish, emphasizing the watch’s adventurous character, while the midnight blue dial presents a smoked finish, adding a touch of elegance. Both dials are embossed with the signature Aquanaut pattern and are equipped with white gold applied numerals and baton-style hands, all treated with luminescent coating for enhanced legibility.​

Powering the 5968G is the self-winding mechanical Caliber CH 28-520 C, a flyback chronograph movement featuring a column-wheel control and a vertical disk clutch. This movement allows the central chronograph seconds hand to function as a continuous running seconds indicator. The flyback function enables the user to reset and restart the chronograph instantly with a single press of the pusher at 4 o’clock. The movement offers a power reserve of 45 to 55 hours and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
